My nose just looked insanely long, but I did have a bit of a bridge, so I absolutely did not want silicone xxx. And I had heard so many times that ear cartilage droops later that I did not want to use it either. T_T To explain my nose condition:> A nose that looks long (and my midface already looked long, so it felt even longer basically a straight arrow nose)> Drooping tip> Wanted to get rid of the bulbous-nose, hump-nose, arrow-nose look> Wanted surgery without an open approach (I wanted a no-open procedure because open surgery takes longer to recover from and leaves a scar) > Wanted to use septal cartilage as much as possible since I did not want to use ear cartilage As I went through consultations, everywhere except one place told me the septum was large. But at the place where I finally had surgery, Director Oh Seung-il at VN pointed out exactly that it was 32 mm, so it was nice because I could get a sense of how much that actually was! If you are going around for consultations, ask about details like this persistently. And since the septum was fairly large, they said ear cartilage would not be necessary unless I was going to raise the bridge, so I felt reassured lol Still, they said they would harvest ear cartilage during surgery if needed, so after surgery I checked my ears first, and they had not used it.. whew.. They extended the septum to fix the drooping tip, and when there was swelling the bridge looked puffy, so for a while I kept contacting the hospital and bothering them (sorry.. haha), but as the swelling went down the line gradually settled really well T_T At first I got so sensitive that I felt like I was going to lose my mind.. If you are planning nose surgery, keep your head together in the early stage.. Now the bulbous-nose look is gone xxx They also tied the tip cartilage, so it got a bit slimmer, and I really like the bridge and tip line lol Honestly, I did not expect it to lift this much with a no-open procedure, so I did not even ask for too much, but there is no scar and recovery was insanely fast, so I strongly recommend it!! I am leaving this review so people looking into no-open surgery can have hope.. haha
