Nose Surgery Reviews

Six months post-op and my life fell apart right away

Uneven nostrils, cartilage sticking out, and because the Honesty manager said it was okay to upload photos and make a complaint, I am posting this ^^ After the autologous costal cartilage surgery, the cartilage on the columella area protruded severely. The nostrils were uneven. When I went to the hospital, they said even they could see there was a problem, so they said it had to be cut and I went back onto the operating table. But the result was even more absurd. They did not fix the protrusion; instead, it ended up looking sunken. Anyone can see it is not a normal state, but the hospital's response was even more ridiculous. When I contacted them about a problem that happened last year, they only told me to wait while they would arrange a schedule. The result of that waiting was a visit on June 23 this year. Even when my younger sibling went in person and asked whether I could be seen even one day earlier, the only answer was, "It has to be June 23." I was completely speechless when I heard that patients who contact them because of a surgical problem are made to wait for months, while new patients can get surgery right after consultation. The most shocking thing was the consultation manager's comment: "Didn't the patient say they did not like the cartilage sticking out and ask to have it cut?" The moment I heard that, I had nothing to say. After surgery, the cartilage was abnormally protruding, but they made it sound as if I had simply not liked it and asked to have a perfectly fine nose cut more. I only felt that, instead of taking responsibility for a patient whose surgery had gone wrong, they were trying to put the blame on the patient. The surgery result was disappointing, but the aftercare and response afterward were even more disappointing. I hope nobody else has to go through this like I did. If you are choosing a hospital, do not just look at reviews before surgery, but be sure to check how they respond when problems happen. I also asked them to take the post down, so I deleted it, but when conversation did not go smoothly and I said I would have to post it again, the manager sneered, saying to upload photos after getting asymmetric nose surgery at another plastic surgery clinic. Everyone, please be careful. You need to be careful, everyone, really.
