I was reminded of it while writing a comment, so I decided to leave a rating. About 5 years ago, I had breast augmentation with Motiva there. It was my first surgery, and before going there I had consulted at about three places. Honestly, going around for more consultations was too stressful, and since every staff member including the doctor was female, I thought I would feel more comfortable, so I decided to go ahead with the surgery. But the director did the consultation with this vibe of, “I, as the expert, will take care of everything and make you pretty.” She also just decided the size by saying that this was the most appropriate one. What I want to talk about is the day of surgery. Until the consultation, there had been no mention of this, but they told me to sign a written pledge about reviews. A few hours before surgery, they shoved the pledge in front of me and said the amount I had paid was the review event price. I think it was about 12 million won, and I asked again because I thought they might have mistaken me for someone else, but they said that really was the review event price. I was already nervous and anxious, so my mood got really bad before surgery. On top of that, they had clearly said they did surgeries twice a day, morning and afternoon, and I was scheduled for the morning slot, but after going there much earlier than my surgery time and waiting, they did not start until after 5 p.m. I was already tense, felt uneasy and conflicted about having to write a review, got tired from waiting, and became even more anxious and exhausted. It felt like they had swapped my surgery time with an afternoon patient’s, but without giving me any explanation they kept taking photos... doing tests... placing the IV line in advance... and dragging things out so I had to keep sitting in the waiting room for hours, maybe 7 to 8 hours...? I went into the operating room after 5 p.m., slept a bit in the recovery room after it was over, and when I left for home it was around 9 or 10 at night... Most of the staff had already gone home, and only two or three people were left. After that, I really did go to follow-up care diligently. For 6 months, I went faithfully in the schedule the clinic gave me: once a week, then once every two weeks, then once a month. They did not seem to like the review I wrote, so at first they kept asking me to make small edits. Later they just asked for photos and said they would post it themselves. Now that 5 years have passed, honestly, I regret doing it there. I think it would have been prettier if I had made the size a little smaller, and more than anything, the distance between my breasts is too wide, so when I wear a bra that gathers them together it is okay, but when I wear nothing or something like a Calvin Klein triangle bra, my breasts spread too far outward and my ribcage looks bigger, and even if I gain just a little weight my upper body looks bulky. A slightly older male director who used to be an orthopedic surgeon, whom I consulted right before, had recommended a slightly smaller size, and for a while I kept kicking myself in bed every night thinking I should have done it there. If I have the means, I really, really want a revision, but my situation does not allow it, which makes me sad. The director and the consultation manager wear their capitalist smiles and treat the director like a queen bee, and that attitude felt a bit heavy to me. The nurses in the operating room were comparatively kind and nice, without fake smiles. Surgery really seems difficult. It is something you only understand after going through it, and being able to find the right doctor just from a consultation is, in a way, an incredible skill and also luck. I am looking into nose surgery these days too, and I am terrified I will regret this as well... I have been worrying for 10 years now
