Depending on the person, he may come across as strict, but from my perspective, it felt like a consistent judgment based on many years of experience. In particular, I think this hospital has a lot of experience and know-how in medial epicanthoplasty reversal using double-flap surgery. That said, epicanthoplasty reversal is not a simple operation, so the patient’s own preparation is also important. If you study the surgery method, recovery process, precautions, and follow-up cases in advance and prepare a list of questions, you can understand the consultation much better. Also, because consultations are inevitably passive from the doctor’s side, you have to ask and talk more in order to draw out more information. In conclusion, I felt that this hospital was willing to take responsibility for follow-up care, and that the patient should also study enough and ask specific questions rather than leaving everything vaguely to the hospital.
