I wanted to get out of the house quickly, so I specifically asked for natural adhesion with fast recovery. Before the consultation, I thought double-eyelid surgery would be all I needed, but after talking through it, I started wanting a back-and-bottom canthoplasty too. The back part of my eyes was a little closed off, and they said that opening it a bit would make them look much more refreshed, and since my eyes weren’t completely closed off, even a small opening would have a big effect. I had several line designs drawn because I had a few eyes I wanted, and after discussing it with the doctor, I chose the one that seemed to suit me best. The doctor also considered how the eyes would look after the back-and-bottom canthoplasty when designing the line, so it was easier to choose. I went in thinking that with natural adhesion, the recovery period would be long because of the back-and-bottom canthoplasty..., and in the end recovery did take longer than I expected, but I’m so satisfied with the result.
