I was grateful that they pointed out the functional issues that other clinics had not explained to me (tilted columella, deviated septum). There was no CT or photo imaging, but compared with the other doctors, they palpated my nose in a lot more detail and examined me with an endoscope. I trusted the plan because they prioritized fundamental treatment! However, when I asked about things I was curious about, they put me down as if I should not be asking, which caught me off guard. Since it is such a difficult and careful surgery, I thought they could at least answer the patient’s concerns.. When I showed them the nose shape I wanted, they confidently said it was possible. Surgical style differs by clinic, so I think I need to look around more.
