I tried dieting several times, but while my body got slimmer, my face never did.. They said if too much is removed unnecessarily, hollow cheeks could happen, so we decided to proceed with only as much as needed. The fact that they did not tell me to overdo it actually made me trust them more. After surgery, as the swelling went down, my jawline started to show, and the double-chin feeling from the side disappeared.. When I look in the mirror and see the area under my chin falling cleanly into place, it feels like the part that diet could not fix has finally been organized. People around me started saying my face had gotten smaller, and that was the best thing they could have said..
