Every time I took a selfie, I was so bothered by the fat under my chin. Even when I dieted, only the area under my chin would stay the same, so I just started looking into liposuction. At the consultation, they checked how much fat could be pinched and proceeded with mainly removing the double-chin area. The surgery itself took less than an hour. On the day of surgery my face looked puffy because of the swelling, but after 3 days the swelling went down and I could see the area under my chin looking more defined. When a week had passed, I took off my mask and looked in the mirror and thought, wow, I really look different lol It’s not completely gone yet, but even the side profile has changed already, which is kind of amazing. There was some bruising, but it was manageable with a mask, and the pain was only a dull soreness, so it was bearable. They say it will slim down even more after about a month, so I’m looking forward to it.
