I had already had a nose surgery before, but as time passed the nasal tip seemed to droop more and more, and I kept noticing the cartilage at the tip showing when I smiled or from the side. I had already used autologous costal cartilage before, and in this surgery they reused the existing autologous costal cartilage together with ear cartilage and silicone to correct the nasal tip line and nasolabial angle!
It has been one month now, and the part I am happiest with is the side profile. Before surgery, the tip looked like it was dropping downward, so my mouth also seemed relatively protruded, but after the nasolabial angle improved, my overall balance looks much better. The tip also feels more firmly supported than before, so the impression of it drooping has decreased a lot!
I think the remaining swelling will keep going down little by little, but for now I am satisfied with both the line and the height. For anyone considering revision surgery, I think it would be good to check the support of the nasal tip and the nasolabial angle together.
