After my first surgery failed, my nose looked visibly crooked, and every time I looked straight ahead the stress was intense. The bridge was crooked too, and the columella had curled inward, so from the side it also felt like my mouth looked a bit protruded. Looking at old photos, the front asymmetry and crookedness were pretty severe.
I didn't want anything too flashy or obvious, so while correcting the crookedness firmly, I wanted a sleek look that still felt natural yet refined. After looking through this community and several others, I found reviews saying that [Clinic A] was good with male nose cases and did well with crooked-nose correction, so I had a consultation there and went straight into revision surgery.
[Surgery plan] 1) Crooked nose correction (improve asymmetry) 2) Silicone for the bridge + autologous costal cartilage for the tip 3) Lower the curled-in columella
Since it was a revision surgery, I had a lot more to think about regarding materials than with the first surgery, but the doctor said to secure the tip firmly with autologous costal cartilage, so I trusted that and went ahead.
It's been 2 months now, and I'm very satisfied with the result. My mouth looks less protruded too haha.
I was worried it might end up looking too obviously done, but Dr. Kim Hyun-woo designed it to fit my face shape perfectly, keeping it natural while clearly defining the bridge line, so it really gives a more masculine impression!
The pain at the donor site for the autologous costal cartilage has mostly subsided, and the tip is staying firm and well supported 👍
