I had dorsal augmentation (donor dermis) + short nose correction + bulbous nose correction surgery at The K Plus. Before the consultation, I watched Dr. Kim Jin-woo's YouTube videos a lot and studied, so when I went in for the consultation I already had a lot of trust in him. My nasal bridge was not that low, so he said it wasn't really necessary to do the bridge, but I did have a slight desire for a higher bridge. At the same time, I was a bit put off by implants, and he suggested an alternative, saying dorsal augmentation was possible with donor dermis too. Until day 3 after surgery, there was gauze inside my nose, so aside from the discomfort of breathing, I had no real difficulty. On the 1-week mark, after the splint was removed and I saw my nose for the first time, even though it was still very swollen, the shape was so pretty that I kept smiling lol Since my nose became prettier, my self-esteem went up and I also became more confident about my face. I never really liked taking photos before, but after nose surgery I definitely look better in pictures too. My recovery is going well and I spend every day feeling very satisfied, with no other discomfort.~ To share the part I was most satisfied with from the consultation: The consultation was great because they gave me a good estimate based on CT images and my actual facial features, without pushing any extra procedures. Since I went with my mother, I was grateful that the doctor answered all of her many questions in a way that was easy to understand and very kindly. I had a long journey of researching online and visiting clinics in person before getting nose surgery, and I am so glad I finished that whole process and ended up with such a satisfying result!
