3-week review after rhytidectomy (silicone, not sponsored)

I had been feeling really down until last week, but maybe time really does heal things because a lot improved in just one week. [Positive points] 1. The monkey-like look has disappeared by about 70-80%, so I finally look a bit more human. In the morning and when I am active during the day, I still look a little monkey-like, but around 11 p.m., once the swelling goes down completely, that monkey-like feeling is almost gone, so I am satisfied with this part. I do not know what changed compared with last week, but it is surprising that the monkey-like look disappeared. 2. Because of that, I have started to like how I look at a 45-degree angle reflected in the subway window, with a blank expression. The reason I chose this surgery was that shadows from the hollowing beside my nose made me look suddenly older, which stressed me out, but now that the monkey-like look has mostly gone, I am happy that this stress has also gone. 3. My smiling face is really, very slightly coming back. Of course it still looks quite strange, but seeing that my upper teeth are now showing a bit makes me think the lip elevator muscle was fortunately not damaged. I still do not know whether I can return perfectly to my pre-op appearance, but just the fact that the muscle was not damaged makes me so relieved and grateful.. [Negative points] 1. My nose still looks slightly upturned. I think this 1 mm of upward tilt bothers me much more than nasal widening.. This difference somehow gives a monkey? pig? impression and makes the side profile less attractive, so I am dissatisfied. It also gives the front view a subtly ugly, mismatched feeling. I do not know whether it will return. Since the implant created a raised area, it seems unavoidable that the nose would look upturned.. People with short, low noses would probably feel dissatisfied about this part like I do. 2. The bulging next to the nose is still there too. Volume is coming where volume should not be there, so it is not great. But for some reason I think this will improve. Maybe after about 6 months.. 3. The foreign-body sensation is still quite strong and it pulls a lot. I keep having to smile because I have many reasons to smile, which is exhausting. It hurts and feels tight, and I am also very worried it might move. 4. The incision inside the mouth... this was an unexpected side effect. I do not know whether it is scar tissue or whether it is really swollen and lumpy and thick, but it feels as if the inside of my mouth is constantly swollen. I do not know whether it is because of scar tissue or because it is swollen. It is so, so uncomfortable. Am I the only one like this..?
