I had double eyelid surgery. It wasn’t recent; it’s been almost 9 years. At the time, I was told my eyelids were thick, so I had incisional surgery. One of my eyes had an obvious double eyelid line, and it was a complex for me, so they said they would make both eyes match in height and did the surgery. Now, after a lot of time has passed, the heights of the double eyelids on the two sides are uneven The line on the eye that originally had a double eyelid sits a little higher. When I wear makeup, people usually do not notice, so I’ve just been living with it, but maybe because my eyes were uneven to begin with, they’re still uneven after surgery.
