It's been over 10 years since I had surgery here for a crooked nose plus rhinitis. I used autologous costal cartilage, and they didn't make the bridge higher; they just shaved 1 mm because otherwise the nasal bones would have looked uneven. It was a very severely crooked nose, but it's been maintained well for over 10 years, and people around me don't even know I had nose surgery. I'm still grateful that it turned out so naturally and well the first time. Of course, I think one reason was that they didn't raise the bridge too aggressively, but... nose revision surgery is especially common, so fortunately I've been doing well for over 10 years. The surgery itself did feel a bit factory-like and like a huge-scale operation, which made me anxious, but in the end I'm satisfied.
