Even after one revision surgery, I still had the same reason that led me to revision surgery after my first operation: my nose tip drooping. So I started looking into revision surgery again.
Before my first surgery and before my first revision surgery, I thought, "Ah, the first surgery was wrong. If I do a revision, it will get better." But when my nose tip started drooping again after the revision, I kept wondering if the problem was me. I was really full of worry and anxiety because I feared the same drooping would happen even if I had surgery again.
I told myself I would try this surgery one last time, and if it drooped again, then it would be my problem and I should give up. So I searched everywhere for hospitals that were not even specifically revision specialists, but places people found when revision surgery still did not improve the problem.
I asked around everywhere through community apps, KakaoTalk, and more, and after hearing that Another was very famous in that area, I went there.
First of all, both my first surgery and revision surgery consultations felt like they did not even last 10 minutes with the doctors, but Director Kim Beom-jun spent more than 20 minutes with me in consultation. We had enough discussion even during the design stage.
The director seemed to listen very well and be very empathetic, and I think that carefulness gave me some hope. After the surgery and once the splint came off, the line was really pretty. Of course, the first surgery and revision surgery also had pretty initial lines, but because I had decided on a re-revision due to the tip drooping over time, I felt happy but still could not fully relax.
Still, when I went back for follow-up, the director told me it would not droop anymore, and that was very reassuring. Even so, when a doctor says that so confidently... lol, I thought.
I am only at 2 weeks now, so there is still some residual swelling, and I will need to watch a little longer to see whether it droops in the future or not. But compared with the surgeries I have had so far, the feeling is clearly different in a way that is hard to put into words.
And the shape is the prettiest among all the surgeries I have had so far, haha. I will keep trying to maintain it and come back with another review!
