I am scheduled for surgery. Rather than a shape that looks too artificial or changes too dramatically, if you want to keep your natural nose shape while making the midface look shorter and wanting it to look like, at first glance, it could be either a nose job or just a natural nose, then I think it is worth doing. Now that the surgery date is set, I am looking forward to seeing what it will be like after it is done! From the front, it seems slightly more gathered, and from the side and at a 45-degree angle the change looks pretty. Even from the front, it feels neater, of course.
