My old double-eyelid line kept getting thinner and lower over time, so my eyes started to look a bit tight. I already did not have very strong eyelid-opening strength to begin with, and as time passed I even started to look sleepy, so I began looking into revision eyelid surgery.
This time I wanted a sharper, clearer look. Since it was revision surgery, I was honestly very worried. I was concerned about the line, scars, recurrence, and other issues, so I went to several consultations and did a lot of legwork.
I had natural-adhesion revision surgery, revisional ptosis correction, revisional inner canthoplasty, and revisional upper canthoplasty together. I thought recovery would take a long time because it was revision surgery, but it was better than I expected.
There was of course swelling at first, but considering it was revision surgery, I think the position settled fairly quickly. Daily life was not very inconvenient either.
What I am most satisfied with is the ptosis-correction effect. Before, I felt like I had to use my forehead when opening my eyes, but now that feeling has been reduced a lot, and my eye shape feels much clearer than before.
The line is also almost symmetrical left to right, and it came out similar to the look I wanted during the consultation. It has been a while since the surgery now, so most of the swelling is gone, and the line has settled in stably.
I worried a lot because it was revision surgery, but in the end I am satisfied. If you are considering revision surgery, I really recommend going around for a lot of consultations.
