I had a consultation with Director ㅊㅅㅊ at ㄷㄷㅇ(ㅣㅔㅣ).
As soon as I went in, the desk staff member helped me, but.. her way of speaking basically seemed kind of irritated; I can’t write the detailed back-and-forth, but anyway, that’s how it was. From what I saw while sitting there briefly, it seemed like only that one person was like that. After that, I went straight in for a CT scan and first had a brief consultation with the consultation manager. I waited, then had the consultation with the director based on the CT and actual photos.
The director seemed confident about the surgery, but I didn’t get the sense that he was calmly trying to listen to the patient’s opinions. And most of all, when I said I didn’t really remember whether ear cartilage had been used in my first surgery, he touched both sides and said all my ear cartilage was there. (But the funny thing is, later I went to another hospital and the director there touched them and said the cartilage in my right ear was gone, so it seemed like the right ear cartilage had been used in the first surgeryㅋㅋㅋ) So I decided to skip this hospital; I had things I wanted, but I also hoped that from a doctor’s perspective, he would say things like, “This would suit you better if we do it this way,” but there was none of that. I just showed the nose I wanted, and he said we could operate by doing this and that and using such-and-such, and that was it.
At ㄷㄷㅇ, only the consultation manager was good. She listened calmly, and when I asked about things I was curious about, she explained everything in detail. She also tried to match the price as much as possible, and I felt like she was being very considerate.
I still have two more places left, and after I receive all the consultations, I’ll post another review.
