I had originally planned to have surgery under general anesthesia, but because it puts a lot of strain on the body and I am somewhat physically weak, I had it done under sedation instead so it would not overstrain me. They said the effect is the same as with general anesthesia, so I felt even more at ease.
I thought self-taken selfies would not be accurate enough for comparison, so I got the photos taken at the hospital, compared them, and the difference was astonishing. Once again, I have to say I cannot understand why I did not do it earlier. For about the first 4 days, until swelling peaked, I felt a bit stuffy, and I had read reviews saying that when the anesthesia wore off they wanted to die from the pain, so I was worried. But honestly, all I felt was throbbing pain, which surprised me. So I kept thinking, once the anesthesia wears off, it will hurt a lot, right? I was shaking, but it was not painful.
The surgery went well and I am very satisfied! The cost was a bit expensive, but I definitely feel it was worth the money!! I had contouring reduction surgery x2 (front chin + square jaw, without bone cutting).
