This is my one-month review after contracture nose surgery with Director Kim Hyun-joo at R.U Plastic Surgery. At first, as the swelling went down, it seemed lower than I expected, so I felt disappointed, but when I compared it with photos from before surgery, the change was really dramatic. The upturned nose that had bothered me the most was corrected, and as the tip came down, my overall impression became much better. I trusted Director Kim Hyun-joo's skill and went ahead, and as expected, she is a real expert. The pinched part was also smoothly released, and instead of making it overly high, she focused on lowering the tip, so there is no obvious sign that I had revision nose surgery. It looks very natural. This was perfect for me because I did not want an unnaturally sharp nose. At my one-month follow-up, they also checked my nose very carefully, and I am diligently applying the scar gel they gave me for care of the costal cartilage scar. I am also trusting and waiting for the scar laser that they said they would do at the three-month mark!
