I have had the habit of looking into hospitals for more than 10 years now. I honestly had surgery this time with the hope that it would be the last one. When I used ear cartilage and silicone, it bent horribly, but using autologous costal cartilage seems to have made the bending better. I was very worried about using the upper ribs because I was afraid of leaving a scar. But since it would not show much anyway when wearing underwear, I made up my mind and chose the upper rib cartilage. I had heard that the level of strength is different, but it feels way too hard.... The area under my nose still feels stiff. I heard it will loosen more, and it has definitely become much softer than before, but I still have a long way to go. The shape of my nose is still pretty, but if it suddenly bends from here, it would be my 4th surgery and I feel like I would lose my mind.... Please just let it stop at the current shape...
