Because of ptosis, I heard too many people say I always looked tired, and it was really stressful. So I made up my mind and had surgery, and from the conclusion first, I am extremely satisfied. What I worried about most before surgery was swelling and recovery. I was worried I might bleed a lot, but when I actually looked right after surgery, there was only a small scab, so I was a bit surprised. The hospital explained eye care methods really thoroughly, and thanks to that I was able to start applying ointment and managing it from the next day. There was no major inconvenience even when I went straight back to daily life, so the recovery period was much easier than I expected. The aftercare was systematic and well organized, so the swelling seemed to go down quickly too. It has been about 6 months now, and the line has settled so naturally that people around me do not even know I had surgery. They only say my eyes look much clearer and my impression is better. The director and the front desk staff were all kind, so I felt good every time I went in for care. People like me who hesitate because they are worried about recovery probably do not need to worry too much. They really take good care of aftercare, so recovery was genuinely smooth.
