I've had severe rhinitis since I was little and breathing always felt stuffy, so I kept going from one otolaryngology clinic to another. Then I learned that while treating nasal congestion, I could also improve the shape of my nose, so I looked into surgery. My nasal bridge was very low, and I really hated having my side profile photographed, but I wanted to solve that complex too. Because I'm the type who worries a lot, safety was the top priority. So I decided on functional and cosmetic nose surgery at G&G Hospital, where otolaryngology collaboration is available. I was really tense when I went for the consultation, but the atmosphere was so comfortable that I felt at ease. I told the director that I wanted to raise the bridge as much as possible without overdoing it. The bridge was lifted with a customized implant, and the tip was designed to be sharp and refined with autologous costal cartilage. They really caught my needs exactly and looked over everything carefully, so I felt very reassured. When the splint came off, the side line of my nose looked completely different and I was shocked. Because I also had septal deviation and nasal valve surgery, breathing through my nose became so much more comfortable. These days, everyone I meet says my face looks much more three-dimensional and compliments me. The nose tip shape is exactly the natural yet refined look I wanted, so lately I've been enjoying taking selfies.
