Nose Surgery Reviews

One week after my first nose surgery: removing the splint

A one-week rhinoplasty update. Before surgery I was honestly extremely nervous, but once it was done the recovery process turned out to be better than I expected, so I’m feeling relieved..! I had surgery with the chief director, and from the consultation stage they were incredibly thorough and listened carefully to the exact feeling I wanted, so I trusted them. The design also seems to have been done to suit the mood of my face naturally rather than in an overly flashy way, so I’m satisfied. And finally the splint came off. When I first looked in the mirror, I got unexpectedly emotional. Even though there is still swelling, I really like the line itself and the overall impression feels completely different..! I barely had any bruising, and my facial swelling was also much less than I expected, so daily life hasn’t been very uncomfortable 🫶🏻 Right now it feels like only the nose swelling is left, so I think it will settle more naturally as time passes. People around me also say the swelling is not as bad as they expected and that my nose turned out really well, so I feel even more relieved and happy these days haha. It’s still not the final shape yet, so I’ll keep watching it, but so far I’m very satisfied and I’m looking forward to it looking even prettier once the swelling goes down more.
