Nose Surgery Reviews

Review of revision rhinoplasty with autologous costal cartilage for a nasal implant case

I had silicone in my first nose job, but the tip of my nose gradually became blunt, and it was really stressful. After thinking about it for a long time, I finally had revision surgery with autologous costal cartilage this time. On the day of surgery, it was under general anesthesia, so I did not know what was happening during the operation itself, but waking up was a bit hard. The area around my ribs was a little uncomfortable, but it was manageable, and after about three days it was almost fine. My nose just felt stuffy while the splint was on. After the splint came off, the tip of my nose looked clearly different. Before, it felt blunt and spread out, but now the line where the tip comes down a little is visible, and that feels kind of amazing. Now, one month later, the swelling has gone down a lot, and the contours feel more defined. People around me say my nose looks different, but it is natural without being obvious. Honestly, it is not even comparable to my first nose job, lol
