It's been 4 months since I had 3.5 mm silicone + cartilage repositioning... I did not want it to look obvious, and I knew my skin was thin, so among the 3, 3.5, and 4 mm options recommended by the clinic, I went with 3.5 mm. But ever since right after the surgery, the bridge area has looked high and reddish, and it has been bothering me. Then one month after surgery I left the country to start an overseas internship, and before that I tried to go in for a follow-up, but I got turned away because the director was at a seminar. And this time I had a trip to Korea, so I booked a consultation, but the director wasn't there again lol... So I got a chat consultation, and even though they couldn't know for sure from photos, they said something like, if inflammation develops or if it bothers me too much, it has to be removed. I also checked other hospitals, but they said consultation is not possible until 6 months have passed, so I left the country again without getting anything resolved. But after looking into it more, I found out that redness and transparency like this can also mean the silicone may break through, and pressure can even cause necrosis... ugh....... (right now it feels like the silicone is almost right under the skin) Since then I've been so anxious that I can't focus on anything else, but I'm in a situation where I can't even get a consultation, so I'm losing it. There's nobody around me I can ask, so I'm asking everyone here I return home in January next year, but should I go back to Korea by taking leave even if it's a stretch, and get surgery scheduled sooner? (I covered the tip of my nose because of blackheads lol)

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoMay 19 Can silicone come out even if there is cartilage at the tip of the nose?
I'm thinking about removal because the cartilage at the tip of my nose is showing.... I think the thing that feels angular? pointy? at the tip of my nose is cartilage, but I'm worried, so I'm asking... Even if there is cartilage at the tip
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoMay 18 Anyone familiar with tying the cartilage at [Clinic A]?
[Clinic B] does not tie it at all after repositioning the alar cartilage. But I was told that at [Clinic A], because they cut the alar cartilage that was originally attached when they first did the rhinoplasty, it has to be tied when doing
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoMay 18 Nose removal
Among the big three clinics, I feel kind of drawn to [Clinic A]. Has anyone had removal done there, or gone for a consultation? I haven't gone for a consultation yet, so I don't know if it's any good.
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoMay 18 Considering revision nose surgery. What would you do?
No, I’m basically already at the point where I’ve decided to do it, but what would you do? And if you did it, how would you do it? It’s been a little over 3 months since my first surgery. Only cartilage was used, and it was done with an…
