Hello. I got a lot of help from other people's removal reviews while I was looking around for surgeons, so I thought I'd write one too. Everyone, aren't you also having a hard time worrying about removal? Until very recently, I was digging through community posts and was mentally exhausted too.
But now the foreign-body sensation is gone, and the occasional pressure pain has also disappeared, so I feel much more at ease. I had the nasal septum used to raise and lengthen the tip of my nose. I also filed down the hump, tied up the tip cartilage, and had nostril reduction. I did quite a lot, right?... I removed it because of the foreign-body sensation, the right side of the nasal tip feeling round to the touch, and a bit of translucency.
Even after removal, there is still some anxiety. I kept looking in the mirror and comparing my natural nose and surgery nose photos, and because there was a slight step-off too, I kept worrying... Still, my nostrils look rounder now, and the side profile is still higher than my natural nose, but it looks like a natural nose.
- Sorry, no hospital info - After removal surgery, I often saw people saying that problems appeared in the nose months later, so I don't think I can share the details lightly. My nose hasn't even fully settled yet, and I'm still watching the recovery. I hope this helps even a little. I wish everyone a successful nose result.
