A few days ago, when I went in for my 3-month follow-up, I asked the doctor if removal was possible. He said I had had a septal extension, ear cartilage, and a ton of work done on my nose, and that if I had it removed, my nose would absolutely collapse at the septum, turn into a pug nose, and the alar cartilages would spread out, making it an irreversible nose. He asked if I really had the confidence to handle that, and really scolded me..
So I have been terrified and have not been able to sleep for days. For 23 out of 24 hours, my heart is pounding like crazy... It feels like it is about to burst out... Of course I was never expecting a 100% original nose, but since there was so much manipulation in the first surgery, being told I would definitely end up with an unattractive nose is so scary...
