A large hospital honestly wasn’t among my options, but since a lot of people seemed to go there, I visited thinking I should at least hear them out once. There were really a lot of people.. I think I waited over an hour.. I knew it was a large hospital, but I didn’t know there were that many directors, so I hadn’t decided which director to choose. Since I didn’t have much time, I quickly told the consultation manager my needs, like wanting ptosis correction and preferring a non-incisional method, and after that they matched me with a director and proceeded with the consultation.
Before that, I had gone to consultations at ㅈㅇㅈ and ㄱㄴ, and although I saw them while I was still debating whether or not to get ptosis correction, somehow the directors’ explanations and such felt formal and routine.
Starting from my eye shape, the director explained in detail that non-incisional surgery was possible, what kind of shape would come out, why I would need to proceed with an incisional method to get the shape I wanted (an inner double eyelid with a thin monolid-like feel), and about the shape of my eyes, etc. They also answered my questions very kindly.
The consultation manager felt a bit unreliable.. but the impression the director gave me was so good that ㄷㅇㅇ, which hadn’t been on my list, is now what I’m thinking of as a strong candidate.. The director who consulted with me was Director Ahn, but there’s so little information online, so that’s another concern..ㅠ
For now, the consultation itself was really good, and they gave a big discount on the price, so even though it was incisional ptosis correction, I think it was about 300,000-400,000 KRW cheaper than other clinics. As for dates, maybe their schedule was more open than I expected.. I think it was possible to adjust it somewhat to the date I wanted.
