Nose removal and revision consultation review

I ended up with a Pinocchio nose and wanted revision surgery as soon as possible, so I went around to places that could see me from the 3-month mark. I had silicone with autologous costal cartilage at the tip + ear cartilage. Because the foreign-body sensation from the autologous costal cartilage, the hardness, the skin being pulled tight, and functional side effects like my airway feeling narrower were all so hard to deal with, removing the autologous costal cartilage was my top priority. My original nose is also very low, so I asked whether it would be possible to remove the autologous costal cartilage + place ear cartilage on silicone, and I visited [Clinic A] and [Clinic B]... 1. They explained everything I asked about very well and were kind. First, they said the surgery method I want is possible and that there would be no collapse or anything like that. My original nose has a fleshy tip and the columella is slightly recessed, but they actually said that right now, as the autologous costal cartilage is removed, it looks even more recessed. (When the autologous costal cartilage is removed, the nose may look upturned and the philtrum may look pulled forward, making the columella look even more awkward.) They also said there would be no columellar retraction and that it would become my original-nose columella. Since my columella is already a little recessed, I also asked whether it could be lowered, but they said that would require a support strut. They told me to explain the exact nose shape I want. It seems like it would be good to bring Photoshop edits or something in advance. 2. They were blunt, and because they only answered what I asked, the consultation was short. I think it would be better to prepare a lot of questions. They said that if the autologous costal cartilage is removed, columellar retraction will happen and that the support strut cannot be removed. I was looking at a clinic that specializes in removal because I wanted the support strut removed, but if they are not going to remove the support strut, I started to wonder whether there is any point in going to a removal-specialized clinic. They said my columella is short and my nose is too high, so the plan would be to lower the nose and lower the columella to make a short nose look longer, and that is actually the shape I want right now. But I do not want to leave the support strut in... They said lowering the nose would solve the narrow airway and skin-pulling issues a lot, but if the support strut remains, it will still feel hard. Both places said that revision surgery is possible even with my current nose. They said it would be better to wait until 6 months, but if it is too hard to bear right now, surgery is still possible.
