It looks like there are a lot of consultation appointments booked. They answer questions kindly, so it seems better to come prepared. If you came without knowing much and just showed up, you might have felt the explanation was somewhat lacking. They do not force unnecessary surgery.
The inside of the hospital is very clean, and because the surgery is done under sedation rather than local anesthesia, you close your eyes and open them and the surgery is already finished.
There was a lot of swelling on the day of surgery, and on the second day it seemed like the chin fat had mostly disappeared. Oh, and during the consultation they said many people have surgery on Friday and go to work on Monday, but honestly, maybe that's possible if you have no choice, but I work from home, so I felt really glad about that.
From day 5 the swelling started to build up little by little, and my face became ugly as hell. I lived through huge worry and anxiety... then by week 2 my face got slimmer again. Everyone's different, of course, but I felt more anxious because there wasn't much explanation about things like swelling going down right after surgery and then swelling coming back, or bio-bond.
It's been more than 2 weeks now. It's not dramatic, but then this kind of double chin removal surgery doesn't seem dramatic to begin with. The complex I had has improved to some extent. And the scar under my chin is still clearly there ...!
