I had endoscopic forehead lift at Jaimie Plastic Surgery in January 2015. I chose it because they said they would fix the forehead with sutures instead of using Endotine. I wanted to improve the way my forehead was making me look sleepy, and because my forehead and eyelids were sagging, I had it done and was extremely satisfied.
I worried because there were so few surgery reviews for Jaimie Plastic Surgery, but since the surgeon was a board-certified plastic surgeon and the website made it seem like endoscopic forehead lift was the director's specialty, I chose it even though it was not Endotine. Somehow the timing between me and the director was just right, and I still remember lying on the operating table feeling reassured when I heard the director muttering to themselves after the surgery that it had gone really well.
I booked a same-day consultation and same-day surgery by phone from the provinces, paid the deposit, chose the surgery date, and had the operation. I really had no fear. Now that I have become much more timid and fearful after a failed double-line revision, I think I was really brave back when I had about three surgeries like that in the past.
Because my impression of Jaimie Plastic Surgery was so good for me, now that I have gotten older and started to take an interest in lifting, I became curious about Jaimie's midface lift procedure. But even when I looked for reviews or called the hospital, I could not get a clear answer. The phone consultation was a mess, the website management was a mess, the online consultation was unanswered and a mess... Even when I made a consultation appointment by phone and went to Seoul, I ended up wasting a trip because the director had gone into surgery.
It is unfortunate, but since there is no way to communicate with the hospital, I do not think I can have any other surgery at Jaimie. And when I look for recent surgery reviews, there are not many, and there are also some complaints here and there~
It has now been 7 years since my endoscopic forehead lift... It is not as plump as it was when I first had the surgery, and my eyelids are not as dramatically open, but I really live with 100 times more satisfaction than I did before getting it done. Because I was satisfied with the endoscopic forehead lift, I am also interested in whether a mini facelift or full facelift might be better than doing nothing, but because of the scars I cannot easily decide, and it is unfamiliar so I am a bit scared.
Jaimie Plastic Surgery, please communicate more with patients and improve website management and online consultations too^^
