Seven years ago, my eyelashes were stabbing my eyes and my vision rapidly worsened, so I went to this hospital with my mother while I was in middle school for corrective purposes. They said it was possible with double eyelid incision, that I was using my forehead muscles to open my eyes, and that eye correction was needed. Since I was already doing it, they said it would be better to do inner corner canthoplasty at the same time so the scar would not need to be cauterized multiple times! A lot of time has passed, but it still does not look old-fashioned, and it has settled in naturally and elegantly to match my eye shape. The eye correction was also appropriate, so it does not look overly wide-eyed or dull. The inner corner canthoplasty was also a genius move, and even though it was an incision with an in-out line, it looks like nothing more than a wrinkle at the corner of the eye, with no scar, and it does not collect makeup even more than my friends with natural double eyelids. When I started high school, everyone around me thought I had natural double eyelids, and even now no one thinks I had surgery haha I get told my eyes are pretty so often.
