Before the procedure, I wasn't told in detail about possible side effects or precautions after the procedure. It really wasn't worth the price at all, and because of the dimples I was under a huge amount of stress for two weeks. The swelling mostly went down, but my cheeks looked even more saggy, which was really irritating. It seems that thread lifting suits some skin types and not others, and some people don't get much effect. My skin is thin and I have a lot of cheek fat, so I could feel every knot in the thread, and I really couldn't tell that it had lifted much at all.
