I had surgery in 2012, so I do not remember the consultation details. When I was young, I did it without thinking, without researching at all, because someone introduced me to the place. I just did whatever the doctor told me, with no design or anything. I am dissatisfied with the surgery result. First, the nerve line is a little exposed on both sides, and the right and left sides are slightly uneven, but well, my face has always been asymmetric, so I accept that. But my chin was already short, and they made it even shorter with a T-shaped osteotomy, so after the surgery I ended up with a recessed chin. So the next year or so I had an implant put in, and more recently I had advancement surgery. It is not like the surgery ruined my life or anything, but I really, really regret not researching more and not clearly stating what I wanted at that time. The hospital's advantage, I do not know if it is the same now, but the facility was very good. And after surgery I stayed overnight, and there was a caregiver separately, so even though I had the surgery alone, it was okay.
