Consultation went in this order: consultation manager - surgeon - consultation manager The consultation manager said the nose tip required structural rib cartilage no matter what, but the surgeon said it seemed like it would be fine with only the septum and ear cartilage, and in the actual surgery they only used silicone, septum, and ear cartilage. After the surgeon left, the consultation manager again said donor rib had to be used, and when I explained the situation, they went on and on with excuses again, which made me wonder what was going on.. Still, I trusted the surgeon and had the surgery because the surgeon was kind, precise, and thorough during the consultation, and 4 or 5 days after the surgery I messaged the clinic’s official chat to ask again exactly what materials were used for the nose.. Then suddenly they said the surgery had been done not with silicone but with donated dermis, and when I called the clinic, they hurriedly checked and one hour later the manager corrected it to say silicone had been used. The surgeon seems kind and skilled, but the consultation manager is really not good and seems lacking in professionalism. And there is no separate chart follow-up care, so it does not feel trustworthy.
