I went in for a consultation with the director because I was thinking about nose surgery. They definitely weren't especially kind, but they drew diagrams of exactly the surgeries my nose needed and explained where each thing would go and why my nose looked the way it did, which I appreciated. I also work in a hospital, so as someone who watches surgeons work right next to them, of course it's nice when they explain things kindly, but kindness and surgical skill are separate things, so I think it's better to keep that in mind when choosing a hospital:)
