It has been a little over a week plus 2 days since I had nose surgery at this hospital. It was my first time ever having plastic surgery. I was actually more worried than excited when I went into surgery, but in the end, since not much time has passed yet, I'm not fully satisfied, but I'm grateful that the surgery was done without problems.
In my case, there were both aesthetic and functional issues, so it really wasn't an easy decision. Especially the cost.. I was told insurance reimbursement was possible, but I didn't have much money saved, and the cost ended up being more than I expected.. I wondered if I should postpone the decision. Still, because this was a nose surgery I only wanted to do once, I deliberation and went ahead with it, and I don't regret it.
They say you usually need to watch it for at least a month, so I'm planning to give it time and observe. I wasn't interested in plastic surgery in the first place, so even after going to consultations I still didn't really gain basic knowledge about it, I was really worried, but since I have no intention of getting or looking into any other surgery, I just hope this nose surgery I had now turns out fine.
