With just the thought that I absolutely had to get nose surgery within this year, I went to consultations and ended up having surgery too. Going to consultations and then having surgery all by myself as a man was not easy. I posted on this cafe and got information too... I don't think I have ever looked into something this hard before. Maybe because I was thinking, what if something goes wrong? without realizing it, I ended up researching this hard.
In this hospital, the doctor answered every question I asked during the consultation, and because he looked at things professionally, there were parts I did not understand, maybe because I am a man, but I could not ask at the time. So I remember asking the manager even more things later. They did not seem annoyed and gave me a good consultation, and I think the manager had a big influence on my decision too, not just the doctor.
The surgery may have problems months later, a year later, or years later, but so far there have been no issues. Sometimes, without thinking, I gently touch my nose with my hand. I have developed a habit I did not have before. If it keeps holding up like this without problems, that would be the best, but even if something does happen, I think I would get revision surgery here too.
