First of all, the doctor was extremely kind and listened very carefully to the consultation. Some people may say kindness is not a big deal, but I had already thought that as long as a doctor has skill, that is enough... However, after surgery, I had seen many doctors whose expressions change completely the moment you complain of discomfort or dissatisfaction, and they start openly showing bad moods. I felt so pathetic wondering why I had to flatter the doctor who ruined my face. Since then, I have felt that skill plus character really matter. My nose was a complete mess: contracture plus crookedness, small nostrils, blunt nose, stiff skin that would not stretch, and no alar wings at all. Other hospitals often rejected me, saying they could not do it and that I should just live with it, so I spent years thinking and had many consultations before deciding. At some hospitals, the manager talks through most of the consultation as if they were the doctor, but here the manager only talked about the price and the director handled the consultation, which made me trust them more. They said the shape of my nose, which other hospitals had said was difficult, was possible, and in fact after the swelling went down it came out exactly how I wanted. I also liked that the manager was not trying to play games with money and seemed to quote the same price to everyone. I did not know this, but there are a lot of managers who shamelessly overcharge people by about 100,000 to 200,000 won if they think you look easy to fool. After actually being cheated, I felt so disgusted. For the tip of the nose they used autologous costal cartilage, and for the bridge they used silicone. During recovery, I did say a few times that I did not like the shape and wanted to come back for aftercare, and I was being a difficult patient, but even though the consultation schedule was backed up, they listened to all my complaints to the end and waited for me, which I am very grateful for. The director was so kind T_T They never scolded me once.
