I had my nose augmented with Gore-Tex and the tip tied with autologous cartilage, and my eyes were operated on with the buried-suture method. It has now been over 5 years, and I am going about daily life without any discomfort. They said incision would look very unnatural, so I chose buried sutures, but in the end it loosened and I had to get a revision again. The recovery speed for swelling, bruising, and so on was very fast. The nurses were somewhat brusque.
