It has been 8 months since my lower eyelid surgery. I do have a bit of altered sensation under one eye (when I touch near the nostril, it feels tingly under the eye?), but I am very satisfied with the surgery. The altered sensation is only noticeable when I put on lotion and a few other times; I do not really feel it in daily life. The director explained enough examples of possible side effects, so I just accepted it as it is. It seems like the minor swelling took about 3 months to go down. It really felt like my expressions and everything became naturally mine after about 6 months! Before that, I would sometimes feel pressure in my eyes, and when I touched around my eyes, it felt like air was escaping with little puffs, but now, at 8 months, everything feels settled and attached.
The hospital facilities are so clean and the staff are kind, and I am so satisfied that I want to try other things too, but it almost feels disappointing that lower eyelid surgery seems to be their main specialty lol lol lol lol You can really feel how thorough the director is and how delicate the hands are during the procedure. If it is lower eyelid surgery, I recommend it!
