Eye Surgery Considerations

DI review

Pros) I hesitated a lot, missed my preferred date because I was wavering, and couldn't book surgery, but I was satisfied with the consultation. They analyzed the photo of the shape I wanted very accurately, and tailored the shape according to whether silicone would be used, the analysis of my hooked nose based on CT, and detailed counseling on how much to shave based on the cartilage and bone structure, the distance from the mucous membrane layer, etc. I also liked how, when I asked about the surgical method, they told me about things I didn't need under my conditions and tried to prevent unnecessary surgery. The doctor's confidence, which some people may like and others may not, had grounds for me because I had watched a lot of the DI YouTube channel, so I didn't see it negatively. If I somehow end up needing revision surgery, I would be willing to go back for another consultation.

Cons) The hospital uses four floors of the building, so I had to go back and forth too much between the CT room, waiting area, and consultation room, which felt disorganized. It's a matter of taste, but the atmosphere was rather dark. I was satisfied with the consultation and was thinking of putting down a deposit to proceed with surgery, but if I had still been undecided at the time, I think the slight pressure to leave a deposit might have felt uncomfortable.

(The estimate was around 5.1 million won, but with the functional nose procedure covered by insurance, it came to the high 2 million won range.)
