For a bulbous nose, tying the cartilage alone has no effect. It releases too quickly, so after about a month it becomes the same as before, and if more time passes, scar tissue builds up and the tip of the nose becomes hard. They said it would have some effect, but for a severe bulbous nose it does not work and I do not recommend it. Surgery is better.
