But perhaps because he was so professional, he seemed to have strong convictions and his own stubbornness, which made me hesitate quite a lot about having the surgery. It is natural to ask about aftercare and nose shape since I would be in the revision-surgery position, but he reacted very unpleasantly and gave me the feeling of, why ask about aftercare? We only specialize in noses. Of course, from the patient's point of view, I was there paying a consultation fee, and even if the doctor is skilled, he is not a machine, so I thought maybe it should not have been so hard to answer. For the nose shape as well, he did not say exactly what shape it would be, and he was very sensitive to terms like straight-line profile or slightly curved line. I do think it may be because he studied deeply as a specialist, but I still could not get a rough idea of the shape at all, and the consultation ended with just showing me before-and-after photos, so I could not really tell what kind of nose shape he would create for my face. It is never certain that side effects will happen, but as for aftercare or what to do if something unexpected comes up, well...? Especially because the nose has a high revision rate, it is an area that makes the patient feel a lot of anxiety...
And at first I did not notice, but after the consultation with the doctor, the consultant was really emotional and I was shocked. It was almost like she was speaking in an excited way.... It was a hospital I had gone to with high expectations because it specializes in noses, but compared with the high cost, I felt it would be inefficient to entrust my face there, so I am now consulting elsewhere.
