I had nasal valve reconstruction, and I had it for functional reasons rather than cosmetic ones. For those who want both cosmetic and functional improvement, this is a good first surgery. If you do revision surgery, it is expensive, and even for a first surgery, they recommend donor rib cartilage. I was satisfied, but I regret not doing it for cosmetic reasons too. ---- Additionally, I strongly recommend donor rib cartilage.. And my nasal valve surgery went wrong, so I am scheduled for a partial revision at another place.. sigh
