I am naturally on the slimmer side, but because my job involves standing in front of a camera, and because the chin filler I had been getting steadily seemed to be stretching out more and more, I just went ahead and did it before there was any bone resorption. At first, I went to the consultation thinking I would only get chin advancement, and I wrote on the consultation form that a long face and a weak chin were my concerns. But when they said that if the concern was a long face, we should do the square jaw at the same time, I wondered if making the square jaw wider on a long face would make it look even longer. Even people around me who had some plastic surgery experience said that made no sense and strongly opposed it, But they confidently said it would improve a lot, so I just went for it lol. Even while getting anesthesia I was like, please just do not make it a strong jaw.. and fell asleep.
Honestly, the surgery turned out so well. I used to think I had a somewhat masculine face with a relatively long midface, but that masculine impression disappeared completely, and I do not hear that my midface is long anymore. My face really got smaller and the long feeling disappeared completely. I am so glad I listened to the doctor back then.
This clinic generally does things very naturally, so people around me did not notice right away, but once I told them first, they were like, ohhh~~~ And the best part was that the swelling went down really quickly. This varies from person to person, of course.. I am already 4 months out and my face is taking camera shots so well lol. Who would think I am only 4 months post-op contour surgery? I got so busy after the surgery that I have not even been able to go in for a follow-up lol T_T I sincerely recommend Sures. I do not like recklessly recommending plastic surgery or clinics to others, but if someone close to me really wanted it, I would send them to Sures without hesitation.
