It’s already been about 3 months since my surgery haha To start with the conclusion, as someone who wanted a natural look, I’m very satisfied that I had surgery with Director Kim Da-alm at Oblie!
My original nose was a bulbous nose with a hump + drooping nasal tip, but it also had some height, and because I wanted naturalness + was afraid of inserting an implant, I chose non-implant rhinoplasty. The surgery took almost 3 hours, and after surgery my nose didn’t hurt, but the ear where cartilage was taken from hurt so much.. ㅠㅠ Other than the ear pain and not being able to wash, there wasn’t anything too difficult after the first day. Not only the surgical skill, but also the director’s thoroughness, delicacy, and kindness to patients left a really strong impression on me haha Not long after surgery, the inside of my nose hurt, so I visited the clinic about twice. In the end there was no problem, and it hurt because boog*rs had clumped together, but each time the director comforted me like soothing a baby, saying I must have been so worried by myself, and that even so, if there is anything I’m even a little worried about, I should come to the clinic anytime like this. He removed each bit of foreign material one by one, which became a funny-but-sad little episode haha Now the major swelling after surgery has gone down to some extent, and I’m waiting for the remaining minor swelling to hurry up and go down :)
After surgery, I’ve been hearing a lot from people around me that it turned out so naturally and so well, and that my image has become softer. And.. when other acquaintances had nose surgery, people didn’t think they wanted to do it themselves, but after seeing my result, there are even acquaintances + relatives asking which clinic I did it at, saying they want to have surgery too hahat. Since mine was non-implant surgery, I honestly didn’t think it would turn out this well, but it turned out so well that I’m satisfied and satisfied again ㅠㅠ My mother.. on the day my surgical splint was removed, told me to write today down in my diary and remember it over and over... and said she wants to do it too, and she’s even happier than I am haha I want 6 months to pass quickly so I can see my nose once all the swelling is gone!
