I have a bulbous nose with a lot of flesh at the nasal tip, so all the other hospitals said they would need to use rib cartilage for the tip to become even a little more pointed. Only the place I booked for functional rhinoplasty said they would try using septal cartilage, and if it wasn’t enough, they would use (donor rib cartilage). I feel like the functional nose part will go well, but I’m worried it might come out looking blunt. And when I look at this doctor’s consultation reviews, they don’t use autologous rib cartilage at all and only use donor rib cartilage. Why would that be?? Is donor rib cartilage not good?? Would autologous rib cartilage be better??

I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
