Because I had to have septal cartilage harvested for rhinitis surgery, I was quoted a revision-surgery price even though this was my first nose surgery. It is a hospital that says it can do the surgery without silicone, but in consultations elsewhere I was recommended silicone everywhere. Here they said it can be done without silicone, so it is one of the hospitals I’m still considering. I had a preliminary consultation with the coordinator before seeing the director, and based on what I had discussed with the coordinator, the consultation started by first understanding the surgery direction I wanted without silicone. The consultation was long, and they answered my questions well. But they said this is a case where donor rib cartilage must be used, so personally it feels a bit burdensome.
